We welcome you to the ARK-LA-TEX Dental Assisting Academy, located conveniently in Shreveport, Louisiana. This unique program offers you something that other programs in Dental Assisting cannot offer.
Not only will you learn from seasoned dental professionals, but you will be taught in an actual practicing dental office with tools of the trade. We only teach the most up-to-date methods by professionals who have been practicing for over 20 years.
For less than 3,000 dollars and 10 weeks, you will be on your way to a rewarding career in the dental industry. We are licensed by the State of Louisiana Board of Regents, and you will be given a Certificate of Dental Assisting and certified in Dental Radiology.

Our Philosophy
We believe that teaching dental professionals in a real dental office allows students to have an introduction with real situations. We consistently update our course to stay ahead in healthcare and allow our students to train on state-of-the-art equipment.

Our History
The first program like this was established by Dr. Rich Erickson in 1987. It was the first program in the country to train dental professionals in the office and not a classroom. We still do this today and we feel it helps create better dental professionals.
